Park Hours

The battlefield and self guided trails are accessable year round from 8:00 A.M. to dusk.

The Clover Visitor Center is open Monday - Saturday from 9:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. and
Sunday from 1:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M.

The Roanoke Visitor Center will be open by request. Please call 434-454-4312 for more information.

Rental Rates

The picnic shelter can be rented for either 1/2 day or all day
The rate for 1/2 day is $45.00
The rate for all day is $80.00
There is also a $3.00 reservation fee.

A few picnic tables at the Roanoke Visitors are available to the public on a first come first served basis free of charge.

To obtain rental information or make reservations for the conference room or kitchen at the Clover Vistor Center, please call 434-454-4312.

In addition to handicap accessible restrooms available at the Clover and Roanoke Visitor Centers when open, the Historic Staunton River Foundation provides port-a-johns at the end of the walking trail on the Halifax County side of the park near the earthworks.
